- The Brighter Than A Thousand Suns album was originally released in the UK on EG Records in November 1986 with the catalogue number EGLP 66.
- The single Adorations was released in the UK on EG Records in August 1986 on 7", double pack 7", 12" and extra 12" with the catalogue numbers EGO 27, EGOD 27, EGOX 27 and EGOZ 27.
- The single Sanity was released in the UK on EG Records in October 1986 on 7", 12" with the catalogue numbers EGO 30 and EGOX 30.
- A shorter Chris Kimsey mix of Wintergardens has been previously available on the Killing Joke compilation - Laugh? I Nearly Bought One with the catalogue number CDV 2693 on Virgin Records in October 1992.
- The Chris Kimsey mix of Rubicon has been previously available on the Killing Joke compilation - For Beginners with the catalogue number KJINTRO 1 on Virgin Records in August 2004.
- The original release of the Brighter Than A Thousand Suns album featured mixes of many of the tracks by Julian Mendelsohn. These mixes replaced the original mixes done by Chris Kimsey. At the request of the band Chris Kimsey's original mixes have been restored to the album and the CD you are now holding.
